The only job training/job seeking assistance I got from a government program was pretty much useless and I eventually found a job through contacts and friends, not the program I was involved in. However, after my experience in that program I have something of an idea of the problems they face. Everyone has their own story and needs and getting them the help they need is very dependent upon correctly evaluating what those needs are. Not a simple task and certainly not one that many people administering those programs are capable of doing.
