 My mom asked me one day how to speed my PC up and then I looked at her computer and saw a smattering of applications that are running on the tray. There was Yahoo Messenger, Windows Update, printer Daemons, Anti Virus, Firewalls, MSN Messenger, a sticky pad application and some gadgets. I scratched my chin as I smiled at her and told her that she has far too many processes running at the same time. She said that she couldn’t live without them and I asked “All of them?” Then she nodded her head. Well, in the end I told her that she has to make a choice. More applications running = slow computer. Less applications = faster computer.
