Chipmodder: My Trip to Akihabara

Akihabara (Tokyo) is huge.  It’s a gamer’s heaven with street after street of gaming and computer shops.  I thought Pan Thip Plaza in Bangkok was big, but this is an entire district dedicated to computers and consoles.  I saw everything from Nintendo Wii modchips to old 80s computers for sale.

It’s also in a good location - just a 10 minute walk from Ueno Park so after all the madness of Akihabara, you can get some peace and quiet in the city.

I’d recommend a trip to Japan in March / April or October / November as the weather is perfect then.
