At 63 years of age, Eve was a very active individual who took health seriously. She ate the right foods, excercised daily and for the most part had no vices, although she did enjoy a glass or two of wine with her meals. It was for this reason that the news of her passing struck me deeply. Eve, lived alone in her family home, the kids long since married and moved on. According to her daughter, Eve had slipped on her ceramic tiled kitchen floor, and hit the back of her head. I think back to how horrible that must have been, alone with no one to call for help. I can’t help wondering if she had been wearing a Medical Alert device that eve may still be with us today. I just cannot emphasis this enough, and I have now convinced my mom to purchase a medical alert pendant just to be safe.
