Resurfacing Dining Room Chair Cushions

Select a tough durable fabric like canvas, vinyl or synthetics.• Remove the cushion and place it on the new cushion fabric spread on a large surface.• Measure all four sides and add 4 inches to each length.• Mark the fabric off at these measurements and cut along the lines to get two sides of the cushion cover.• Place the seat cushion upside down on the cut pieces. Now fold one side of the fabric tightly over the cushion and secure by stapling. Wrap the other side tightly over the cushion and staple. Repeat the procedure for the two remaining sides.• There will be some extra fabric at the four corners. Fold them to create a smooth surface and then staple. Clip away any extra fabric.• You now have a resurfaced cushion.
