Getting the Right Communion Candles

January 23, 2010 on 1:16 pm | By admin | In Miscellaneous | Comments Off

Although the practice itself varies from church to church and for every denomination, church candles are often a part of communion service. They are as important as other Communion supplies like the communion set itself, the invitations etc. Sometimes the church would supply them to the children or teachers going under their first communion or confirmation. However, most of the time, it’s up to the parents to bring their own communion candles.

There are many kinds that you can choose from. The most ideal would be to get wax guards for the candles and to make sure that they will be safe while in the hands of the child. Other candle sellers also provide the option to have the candles personalized to make it more special to the child or teenager.
