Royal Caribbean once sailing only in the Caribbean but now has expanded over the world. Their first ship sailed in 1970. In 1978, it started the practice of stretching its ship. In 1988, Royal Caribbean joined with Admiral Cruises and enlarged the size of its fleet. It purchased the Celebrity Cruise line in 1996 and renamed the group “royal caribbean cruises International” in 1997. In 2000, they provide research facilities on board. But today, the majority of their ships offer several facilities which set them separate from their competitors.
